The Global Zero Campaign

Global Zero is an international campaign to rid the world of nuclear weapons before they rid the world of us. On Dec. 9, 2008 in Paris, 100 former heads of state, foreign and defense ministers and national security advisors from U.S., U.K., Russia, China, India, and Pakistan met to try to begin the process of clearing the world of these weapons of mass destruction. In April, Presidents Obama and Medvedev announced the commitment of the U.S. and Russia to the same goal.
